HIMACHAL PRADESH

SKIING

Kufri is the best place for skiers, and Himachal Pradesh is a skiing heaven. Mahasu and Narkanda are two well-liked ski resorts, both of which are located at an altitude of 9000 feet above sea level. There are two distinct tracks, one measuring 350 metres for amateur skiers and 800 metres for experts.

Best months to go: December and February are the most exciting months to visit.

The closest station, Kufri, has good connections to other cities and is the best route to get there.

The closest airport, in Srinagar, is 56 kilometres distant. Bus service to Gulmarg is very good from various Kashmir and Srinagar districts. The closest station, Jammu, is about 290 kilometres away.

ARUNACHAL PRADE
